Key Responsibilities:\n\n * Review project documentation and verify against the Drawing Register.\n\n * Perform take-offs and assess project complexity, identifying potential risks.\n\n * Analyze specifications and project documentation.\n\n * Send enquiries to specialists and issue RFIs as required.\n\n * Input data into Cypher estimating software.\n\n * Prepare tender letters and summaries for submission.\n\n * Lead pre-bid meetings with management.\n\n * Participate in pre-, mid-, and post-tender meetings.\n\n * Conduct Value Engineering analysis on tenders when necessary.\n\n * Attend site visits during tender stages.\n\n * Ensure smooth handover of secured projects to the Contracts Manager.\n\n * Evaluate subcontractor quotations for accuracy and compliance.\n\n * Occasionally assist with large project variations.\n\nExperience & Skills:\n\n * Minimum 3 years' experience in estimating.\n\n * Apprenticeship background (desirable, but not essential).\n\n * Familiarity with Cypher estimating software (desirable, but not essential).\n\n * Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Outlook and Excel.\n\n * Experience with high-end residential projects (desirable, but not essential).\n\nPackage & Benefits:\n\n * Salary: Competitive (£50,000 - £65,000 per annum).\n\n * Bonus: Annual performance bonus.\n\n * Holidays: 22 days, increasing by 1 day annually (up to 30 days), plus Bank Holidays.\n\n * Half-day off on your birthday (weekday only).\n\n * Equipment Provided: iPhone and laptop.\n\n * Additional perks:\n\n * Deliveroo lunch every Friday.\n\n * Summer and Christmas parties.\n\n * Fresh fruit provided daily.\n\n * 1-day remote work per week after probation
