Electrical Estimator\n\nTier 1 MEP Contractor | London (Hybrid after probation)\n Projects up to £35m M&E | Commercial, Mixed-Use & Data Centres\n\nA leading Tier 1 MEP contractor is seeking an Electrical Estimator to join its established pre-construction team in London. The business delivers complex, high-value projects across commercial, mixed-use developments and data centres, with individual M&E packages reaching up to £35m.\n\nThis opportunity is open to Intermediate, Senior, or experienced Estimators, offering genuine flexibility based on capability and experience.\n\nThe Role\n\nPreparing detailed electrical estimates for projects typically £5m+ (larger projects highly desirable)\n\nFull involvement in the tender process from initial enquiry through to final submission\n\nReviewing drawings, specifications, and employer's requirements\n\nProducing take-offs, pricing schedules, value engineering options, and risk allowances\n\nLiaising with supply chain, internal design teams, and commercial leads\n\nSupporting bid strategy, clarifications, and post-tender negotiations\n\nRequirements\n\nProven experience estimating electrical packages within MEP or building services contracting\n\nExperience tendering projects of £5m+ (preferred)\n\nStrong technical understanding of electrical building services\n\nCompetent with industry-standard estimating software (e.g. Trimble, Causeway, Estimation, or similar)\n\nStrong commercial awareness and attention to detail\n\nAbility to work collaboratively within a structured Tier 1 environment\n\nLocation & Working Pattern\n\nPredominantly office-based in London during probation\n\nHybrid working available post-probation\n\nSalary & Package\n\n£65,000 - £100,000 DOE\n\nCompetitive benefits package including pension, holiday allowance, and additional company benefits
