Contracts Manager\nExeter\nSalary Competitive + Car Allowance + Benefits\n\n We are currently recruiting for a Contracts Manager on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded main contractor in the Southwest. Based out of Exeter, covering the region, this is a fantastic opportunity to join a business with a strong pipeline of work, a collaborative culture, and an excellent reputation for delivering high-quality construction projects across the region.\n\n The Role\n\n As the Contracts Manager, you will take responsibility for the successful delivery of multiple construction projects, managing the full contract lifecycle from pre-construction through to handover. Projects are a mix of commercial, education, healthcare schemes typically ranging in value from £1m–£10m. \n\n Reporting at senior level, you will:\n\nOversee 2–4 live sites at any one time across Devon and surrounding areas.\nManage and support site teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, to budget and quality standards.\nAct as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and internal stakeholders.\nAssist with programming, procurement, and resourcing.\nMonitor financial performance and maintain accurate reporting.\nPromote best practice in health & safety and foster a positive team environment.\nLine management of Site Managers and their site teams; monitoring performance, providing leadership, direction and guidance.\nProvide pre construction and pre contract advice to ensure for the smooth running of site activities.\nAbout You\n\nProven experience managing multiple construction projects simultaneously for a main contractor.\nExperience of Programming, JCT and NEC Contracts and design management.\nA track record of delivering schemes up to £10m in value.\nStrong commercial and contractual awareness.\nExcellent leadership and client-facing skills.\nSMSTS, CSCS and First Aid a Work.\nFull UK driving licence.\nWhat’s On Offer\n\n This is a fantastic opportunity to join a thriving contractor with a long-standing presence in the region.
