This job is brought to you by Jobs/Redefined, the UK's leading over-50s age inclusive jobs board.The RoleWe're hiring a Consumer Strategy Manager to help Deliveroo grow, retain and monetise its customer base across all verticals.You'll be part of the Consumer Strategy & Operations (S&O) team, the central function responsible for driving platform MAU growth, order rate, AOV and consumer-side P&L performance. In this role, you'll support and lead high‑impact workstreams that inform where and how we grow, improve the consumer experience, and shape how we drive long‑term commercial value from our customers.You'll partner closely with Product, Marketing, Commercial, Analytics and GMs to translate strategy into execution. This is a highly cross‑functional role requiring strong analytical thinking, structured communication, and sound commercial judgment.What You'll DoStrategy & InsightWork with senior team members to shape growth strategies across markets, segments, or verticalsConduct analytical deep‑dives to size opportunities, assess performance gaps, or inform new initiativesStructure insights clearly to support decision‑making and prioritisation by senior stakeholdersPerformance & PlanningOwn the tracking and reporting of key consumer KPIs (e.g. MAU, order rate, AOV) across workstreamsCollaborate with Analytics and Data Science to build frameworks for performance monitoring and forecastingSupport OKR planning and in‑quarter performance reviews for initiatives you contribute toExecution & DeliveryLead specific workstreams or initiatives within broader cross‑functional programs, such as:Target segment strategies (e.g. families, low‑density growth)Merchandising and seasonal missions (e.g. missions and occasions, gifting)Double Order or ranking changes in collaboration with Consumer ProductDevelop structured execution plans and drive alignment across stakeholders to ensure deliveryCross-functional CollaborationServe as a key point of contact for your workstreams with Product, Marketing, Finance, and local market teamsHelp shape meeting cadences, updates and cross‑functional operating models to keep work movingSupport knowledge sharing and playbook development to scale high‑performing ideasWhat You'll Need to Succeed6+ years in strategy, consulting, business operations or a growth‑related role in a tech or consumer businessStrong problem‑solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work from incomplete data setsClear, concise communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence across teamsDemonstrated ability to drive structure, clarity and progress in complex environmentsHigh personal ownership and bias for action, while knowing when to elevate or seek alignmentCollaborative mindset, able to work across a diverse set of teams and perspectives(Bonus) Experience in marketplaces, consumer tech, food delivery or multi‑market opsWhy Deliveroo?Our mission is to transform the way you shop and eat, bringing the neighbourhood to your door by connecting consumers, restaurants, shops and riders.
