Role Overview:


We are seeking a people-driven Community Coordinator to join our team and lead the engagement of our diverse membership in tech and creativity. This role is pivotal in ensuring our members are engaging in the products and services that BIMA membership offers.


As the face and voice of BIMA’s community, you’ll be responsible for reviewing engagement metrics through a CRM platform and speaking to the membership on a regular basis to encourage participation.


Requirements:


  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills—both online and in-person.
  • Passionate about digital, tech, and the creative industries.
  • Comfortable using CRM tools, community platforms (e.g. Slack, Linkedin)
  • Experience in working in a community management role, customer service or member engagement role is desirable but not essential.


Key responsibilities:


Analyse engagement data.

Member engagement is reviewed and scored in a CRM platform. The role is responsible to ensure that members are engaging by analysing their data in our CRM and reporting back to the members and wider team. Regularly reach out to low engagers and suggest ways to get involved.


Regular check in calls/visits with members.

All members should be invited to regular check-in meetings. Larger members receive one to one sessions and smaller members are invited to group calls. The Community Coordinator will schedule and host these meetings.


Regular Slack and social comms to community channels

It is the responsibility of the Community Coordinator to encourage interaction on Slack and other social channels such as Linkedin.


Ensuring new members are onboarded.

New members are invited to regular online onboarding meetings to demonstrate how to get value from their membership. 


Coordinate quarterly Regional Rep meetings & prepare data.

BIMA has regional representatives to look after regions outside London. Each Regional Rep should have quarterly meetings with the Community Coordinator to explore the engagement data for their region.


Circulate regular membership satisfaction surveys, analyse and respond to the feedback.

The Community Coordinator is required to have a deep understanding on what members want from BIMA. Regular membership surveys and reporting back to the BIMA team.


Salary: £25k per annum
