With long-standing employees approaching retirement, they are now looking to bring in skilled CNC Machinists to strengthen their team and support continued growth.
The Role:
This is a hands-on position for an experiencedCNC Milling Machinistresponsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery. Youll play a key role in maintaining high production standards, improving processes, and supporting the development of junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Programme, set, and operate CNC milling machines (including Doosan HM630 and Trevisan 31i)
- Ensure machines are set accurately right first time
- Carry out self-inspection to maintain quality standards
- Work in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Identify and implement improvements to machining processes
- Support and mentor apprentices where required
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organisation
- Undertake additional tasks aligned with your skills and experience
Requirements:
Essential:
- Proven experience in CNC machining (milling)
- Ability to programme usingFanuc controls
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices
- Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 standards
- Good communication skills and timekeeping
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude
Desirable:
- Experience working with 5S methodology
- Previous mentoring or xbpsjku support of apprentices
