CNC Milling Machinist

With long-standing employees approaching retirement, they are now looking to bring in skilled CNC Machinists to strengthen their team and support continued growth.

The Role:

This is a hands-on position for an experiencedCNC Milling Machinistresponsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery. Youll play a key role in maintaining high production standards, improving processes, and supporting the development of junior team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Programme, set, and operate CNC milling machines (including Doosan HM630 and Trevisan 31i)
• Ensure machines are set accurately right first time
• Carry out self-inspection to maintain quality standards
• Work in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Identify and implement improvements to machining processes
• Support and mentor apprentices where required
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organisation
• Undertake additional tasks aligned with your skills and experience

Requirements:

Essential:

• Proven experience in CNC machining (milling)
• Ability to programme usingFanuc controls
• Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices
• Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 standards
• Good communication skills and timekeeping
• Self-motivated with a proactive approach
• Team-oriented with a positive attitude

Desirable:

• Experience working with 5S methodology
• Previous mentoring or support of apprentices
