CNC Milling Machinist Salary: Up to £35,226 per annum (depending on experience)

With long-standing employees approaching retirement, they are now looking to bring in skilled CNC Machinists to strengthen their team and support continued growth. The Role: This is a hands-on position for an experiencedCNC Milling Machinistresponsible for programming, setting, and operating CNC machinery. Youll play a key role in maintaining high production standards, improving processes, and supporting the development of junior team members. Key Responsibilities: Programme, set, and operate CNC milling machines (including Doosan HM630 and Trevisan 31i) Ensure machines are set accurately right first time Carry out self-inspection to maintain quality standards Work in line with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) Identify and implement improvements to machining processes Support and mentor apprentices where required Maintain high standards of housekeeping and organisation Undertake additional tasks aligned with your skills and experience Requirements: Essential: Proven experience in CNC machining (milling) Ability to programme usingFanuc controls Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices Knowledge of ISO9001:2015 standards Good communication skills and timekeeping Self-motivated with a proactive approach Team-oriented with a positive attitude Desirable: Experience working with 5S methodology Previous mentoring or xehkeey support of apprentices Whats on Offer: Salary up to £35,226 (depending on experience) 33 days holiday (including bank holidays) Pension scheme (8% combined contribution) 39-hour working week (Monday to Friday) Flexitime system with early finish on Fridays Paid sick leave (after qualifying period) Free onsite parking Employee Assistance Programme (including counselling support) Death in Service benefit Cycle to Work scheme and onsite shower facilities Christmas shutdown £1,500 employee referral bonus
