Business Development Manager/Account Manager – London
£40,000 – £45,000 + £9,000 Bonus
Industry: Electrical / Technical Sales (ideal but not essential)
Overview
A growing and well‑established business is seeking a driven Account Manager to join its London team. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced sales environment, enjoys building long‑term customer relationships, and is motivated by achieving targets. Experience within electrical or technical sales is highly desirable, but candidates with strong B2B sales backgrounds from other sectors are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and grow a portfolio of existing customer accounts across the London region.
* Identify new business opportunities and convert leads into long‑term clients.
* Build strong, consultative relationships with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
* Prepare and deliver sales proposals, quotations, and product information.
* Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order processing and customer satisfaction.
* Track sales performance, forecast revenue, and report regularly to senior management.
* Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and product developments. Skills & Experience Required
* Proven track record in B2B sales, account management, or business development.
* Experience in electrical, technical, or industrial sales is an advantage but not essential.
* Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills.
* Self‑motivated, target‑driven, and commercially minded.
* Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritise effectively.
* Full UK driving licence (if the role involves client visits).
