SF Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Accounts Receivable Assistant for a long term contract based in Birmingham. City Centre, offering hybrid working and a January start. \n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nDaily cash allocation\nManage your own portfolio of customer accounts\nProactively chase overdue debt via phone and email\nResolve invoice and payment queries promptly\nMaintain accurate records and update the ledger daily\nPrepare aged debtor reports and highlight risks\nWork closely with internal teams to ensure timely payments\nSupport with month-end tasks as required\n\nWhat We're Looking For:\n\nProven experience in Accounts Receivable\nStrong communication and negotiation skills\nAbility to work independently and manage workload effectively\nConfident using accounting systems and Excel\nSomeone who can pick things up quickly and add value from day one\n\nWhat's on Offer:\n\nLong term contract starting January\nCompetitive pay\nHybrid Working\nPotential for extension depending on business needs
