Finance Administrator - [Sales Ledger/ credit control] | Hybrid - 3 days on site, 2 day from home| Immediate Start | On going Temporary \n \nMy client, a well-established and growing organisation, is seeking an experienced Finance Administrator with Sales Ledger / Credit control experience to join their team on an ongoing temporary basis. This is an immediate start role with a reputable Birmgham city centre business.\n\nIn this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for customers seeking guidance on their financial commitments. You will meet handle sensitive financial queries, and ensure all payment activity is processed accurately and efficiently.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys combining accounts receivable duties with meaningful, personalised customer interaction.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nManage a caseload of customer accounts, ensuring payments, instalment plans, and outstanding balances are monitored closely\nProvide clear, professional financial guidance to customers both in person and via phone/email\nWork collaboratively with internal teams to resolve complex account queries\nProcess invoices, receipts, and adjustments within agreed timeframes\nSupport customers with setting up payment arrangements and understanding their financial obligations\nMaintain accurate records and contribute to the continuous improvement of finance processes\nRepresent the finance team in a customer-facing setting with professionalism and empathy\nAbout You:\n\nExperience in accounts receivable, credit control, or a similar finance position\nConfident engaging with customers face-to-face to discuss financial matters\nStrong communication and problem-solving skills\nHighly organised with excellent attention to detail\nAble to manage a varied workload and handle sensitive information appropriately\nProficient in financial systems and Microsoft Office\n\nKey Information :\n\nHybrid working model (4 days on site)\nSupportive finance team and collaborative office culture\nImmediate start\nPossible long term opportunities
