Astro Education is working with Knutton St Mary's C of E Academy in Newcastle-under-Lyme that is looking to appoint a Year 5 Teacher for a full-time role start May 5th (Or May Half Term) until July. The Role

You will be responsible for teaching a Year 5 class, including:

Planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum

Creating a positive and structured classroom environment

Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching where required

*

Working closely with colleagues and support staff

*

Maintaining high expectations of behaviour and learning

Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

*

Experience teaching within KS2 (Year 5 experience desirable)

Strong classroom management skills

Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
