Year 5 Teacher - Upper KS2**

Aspire People are recruiting a driven and enthusiastic **Year 5 Teacher** to join a forward-thinking primary school. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys teaching in **Upper KS2** and preparing pupils for the transition into Year 6.

The school is seeking a teacher who can challenge pupils academically while also developing their confidence, independence, and resilience.

**The Role:**
* Full teaching responsibility within a Year 5 classroom
* Planning and delivering engaging and challenging lessons across the KS2 curriculum
* Preparing pupils for increased expectations leading into Year 6
* Supporting reasoning, problem-solving, and extended writing skills
* Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly
* Working collaboratively with the KS2 team

**The Ideal Candidate:**
* Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
* Experience teaching within KS2 (Year 5 desirable but not essential)
* Strong subject knowledge in Maths and English
* Confident behaviour management skills
* Passionate about raising attainment and pupil progress
