Warehouse Operative – Key Responsibilities
* Unloading vehicles using mechanical equipment (Forklift) and/or manual handling.
* Scanning and sorting incoming consignments to ensure they are allocated to the correct warehouse location, using a combination of forklift work and manual handling.
* Relocating stock between warehouse locations as required due to space or sorting needs, using mechanical (Forklift) and/or manual lifting methods.
* Processing all relevant documentation, including signing receipt notes and completing required paperwork.
* Maintaining accurate stock records for designated customers (where applicable).
* Picking stock to assemble export loads (pallets) through a mix of forklift and manual handling activities.
* Shrink-wrapping pallets using mechanical shrink‑wrap machinery and/or manual hand‑wrap methods.
* Loading goods into containers or vehicles using mechanical equipment (Forklift / Pallet Truck) and/or manual lifting.
Additional Duties:
* Presenting and processing export documentation with drivers as required
