Here at GXO, we are looking for a Transport Supervisor to lead our team in Wellingborough. Working for a prestigious customer, you will fully run the cross-docking transport operation, ensuring customer KPI's are met, all vehicles are operated within legal parameters and drivers are managed within compliance. This is a Permanent full time role working Monday - Friday between the hours of 14.00-22.00. However, flexibility is required. This is logistics after all! Pay, benefits and more: We're looking to offer a salary between £31,000.00 - £35,000.00 per annum (depending on experience). In addition, we offer 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. Tracking the fleet, managing core drivers, and route planning Ensuring the current transport plan is fully executed in line with or as close to the original plan Escalate any customer service delivery issues through discussion with the customer Working with the Transport Compliance & QHSE Administrator to ensure fleet and drivers are fully compliant with legal and company requirements
What you need to succeed at GXO:
Experience of working in a complex, fast-moving environment Confidence in your abilities and a proactive, hands‑on approach demonstrating a strong belief in your skills while actively engaging in tasks and leading by example Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft packages International CPC qualification - preferred Extensive transport experience
