You will play a pivotal role in coordinating daily driver and logistics operations, ensuring smooth workflows and maximising fleet efficiency.

As the Transport Planner, you will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling daily deliveries to ensure customer orders are completed in a timely manner. You'll be integral to the smooth running of the transport function, balancing operational efficiency with excellent communication and service standards.

Key Duties of the Transport Planner:

Planning and scheduling daily delivery routes in line with customer commitments and operational capacity Ensuring compliance with transport legislation, including drivers' hours and vehicle weight limits Maximising fleet efficiency through effective route planning and fuel optimisation Acting as the main point of contact for delivery-related queries and issue resolution Liaising with sales, yard, and driver teams to ensure smooth delivery execution Preparing driver manifests, delivery documentation, and monitoring transport KPIs Supporting drivers and contributing to cost control and performance improvement initiatives
