Salary: £27,000 Location: UK (On-site) East Sussex Full-Time | Permanent The Role: * Inspect components against engineering drawings and specifications * Learn to carry out detailed inspections using complex datum points * Use a range of handheld metrology tools and advanced equipment * Measure “first-off” components from CNC machines * Record inspection results accurately within company systems * Raise non-conformances (PIFs) and communicate issues to team leaders * Support testing and validation of components and assemblies Essential Requirements: * Qualified to Degree/HNC/HND level in a Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing discipline. * Ability to read engineering drawings (basic to intermediate level) * Some experience working with tight tolerances * Experience using handheld inspection tools (e.g. verniers, gauges) * Able to follow documented instructions and processes * Good attention to detail * Strong communication skills * Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word) * Willingness to learn and develop within a te...
