This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing manufacturing business where youll receive hands-on training, work with advanced inspection equipment, and develop into a skilled Quality Inspector.Salary: £27,000Location: UK (On-site) East SussexFull-Time | PermanentThe Role:Inspect components against engineering drawings and specificationsLearn to carry out detailed inspections using complex datum pointsUse a range of handheld metrology tools and advanced equipmentMeasure first-off components from CNC machinesRecord inspection results accurately within company systemsRaise non-conformances (PIFs) and communicate issues to team leadersSupport testing and validation of components and assembliesEssential Requirements:Qualified to Degree/HNC/HND level in a Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing discipline.Ability to read engineering drawings (basic to intermediate level)Some experience working with tight tolerancesExperience using handheld inspection tools (e.g. verniers, gauges)Able to follow documented instructions and processesGood attention to detailStrong communication skillsBasic Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word)Willingness to learn and develop within a technical environmentONC/HNC in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or similar (or working towards)Desirable:Experience in a CNC machine shop or manufacturing environmentExposure to quality tools (SPC, AQL, calibration, etc.)Experience using CMM or Faro Arm equipmentKnowledge of welding or fabrication processesRecruited UK will make every effort to respond with feedback although this is not always possible.If you have not been contacted within 5 days then unfortunately you have not been successful on this occasion but we may keep your details on file and contact you with future opportunitiesIf you feel you meet the above criteria please apply.JBRP1_UKTJ
