An exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented and ambitious Town Planner to join a dynamic and forward-thinking planning consultancy based in Manchester. This role is being managed exclusively by a specialist recruitment consultant, offering you the chance to take the next step in your planning career within a highly regarded and growing team.
The Role You will play a key role in delivering a wide range of planning projects across sectors including residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. Working closely with senior team members, you'll be involved in the full project lifecycle-from initial appraisals through to submission and negotiation of planning applications.
Key Responsibilities
Preparing and submitting planning applications and appeals Conducting site appraisals and planning research Engaging with local authorities, stakeholders, and clients Supporting project management and delivery across multiple schemes Contributing to planning strategy and development opportunitiesAbout You
Degree in Town Planning or a related discipline Working towards (or already achieved) MRTPI status Previous experience within a planning consultancy or local authority Strong report writing and communication skills A proactive and commercially aware mindsetWhat's on Offer
