What You Will Do: - Design and deliver bespoke test rigs and fixtures, from concept to completion, using advanced CAD tools such as Catia V6. - Create detailed 2D drawings for manufacturing parts at internal workshops and external suppliers. - Collaborate with customers to identify testing requirements, ensuring rigs meet performance expectations. - Work closely with workshop fitters and supervisors to oversee the assembly and delivery of test rigs. - Validate designs through hand calculations, kinematics, Multibody Simulations (MBS), and FEA/CAE. - Produce technical reports and review junior team members' designs to ensure quality and functionality.
