Job Title: Technical Service Manager


About the Role:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical services Manager to join a leading Tier 1 Main Contractor delivering high-profile projects across London. This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of the industry’s most reputable names, on complex schemes across commercial, residential, healthcare, and mixed-use developments.

The successful candidate will oversee all Mechanical, Electrical & Public Health installations on-site, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality and safety standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the full lifecycle of MEP services from pre-construction through to handover
  • Liaise with design teams, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure coordinated delivery
  • Ensure compliance with technical specifications, regulations, and company standards
  • Provide technical leadership and support across multiple packages
  • Monitor and report on programme, cost, and quality progress
  • Oversee commissioning, testing, and handover processes
  • Champion health & safety across all MEP works


Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Technical Services Manager on large-scale construction projects
  • Experience working with a Tier 1 Main Contractor is essential
  • Strong knowledge of UK building regulations and MEP systems
  • Degree or HNC/HND in Building Services, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills
  • Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and resolve technical challenges on-site
