Teaching Assistant

Excell Supply is currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to support Key Stage 2 pupils in a welcoming primary school in Huyton, Liverpool. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive school community on an ongoing basis from next half term, with the possibility of the role becoming permanent.

The Role:

* Supporting pupils across KS2, working with individuals, small groups, and whole-class activities.

* Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and delivery.

* Helping to create an inclusive, engaging, and positive learning environment.

* Providing extra support to pupils with specific learning needs.

* Encouraging pupil progress, confidence, and independence.

The Ideal Candidate:

* Previous experience working with primary-aged children (KS2 preferred).

* A passion for supporting children’s learning and development.

* Strong communication and teamwork skills.

* Patience, empathy, and flexibility.

* Relevant qualifications (Level 2/3 TA qualification desirable but not essential).
