SEN Teaching Assistant - PMLD & Complex Needs (Primary) | Toxteth, Liverpool

Contract: Full-time, long-term

Pay: £95-£115 per day (DOE)

We are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and complex needs in an SEN primary school in Toxteth.

This role is ideal for someone with a care, residential, healthcare or support worker background who wants to move into a school setting.

The role:

Full-time, long-term TA role in a specialist PMLD unit
Supporting a small group of pupils with high physical, medical and sensory needs
Helping with learning, communication, sensory activities and play
Providing personal care (feeding, changing, toileting)
Using hoists and equipment (full training provided)
Working closely with teachers, therapists and medical staff
