SANZA Teaching Agency are recruiting on behalf of a fantastic 2-form entry primary school in the London Borough of Barking & Dagenham.

They are seeking a caring, patient and enthusiastic teaching assistant for their early years team to support key students in nursery with Autism.

The details:

Full- time Term-time only 30am- 3.45pm Immediate start until July 2026 (likelihood of extension/permanency from September 2026)

Responsibilities:

Supporting young learners (ages 3-4) with Autism Assisting with communication, social interaction and routines Adapting learning activities to meet individual developmental needs Encouraging independence, emotional regulation and positive behaviour You will work closely with class teachers, SEN specialists and families to ensure that each child receives personalised support that meets their individual needs.About you:

A warm, patient and empathetic nature Previous experience as a teaching assistant with SEN Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn Previous experience with Autism Early years' experience or relevant childcare qualifications are a bonus
