Graduate Classroom Assistant

Are you a recent graduate in Psychology, Sociology, or Education looking to gain hands-on experience in a school environment?
We are recruiting a Graduate Classroom Assistant to work alongside teachers and SEN staff, supporting pupils academically, emotionally, and socially. This role is an excellent stepping stone into teaching, educational psychology, SEN, or child mental health.
The Role
* Supporting pupils in the classroom on a 1:1 and small group basis
* Assisting with learning, engagement, and behaviour
* Supporting pupils with additional needs (SEN, SEMH, autism, ADHD)
* Helping pupils develop confidence, focus, and emotional regulation
* Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and pastoral teams
* Gaining practical, real-world experience with children and young people

* Strong communication and interpersonal skills

* Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)
