1:1 Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are looking to appoint a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join our Hull Primary Schools. Full-time and part-time applicants are encouraged to apply, term time only. This position will pay £92.63–£110 per day.

We are seeking an enthusiastic, patient and reliable candidate who is confident supporting a child with special educational needs on a one-to-one basis. This role requires a strong passion for welfare, education and child development, as well as the ability to build positive and trusting relationships. Applicants with relevant experience such as a Teaching Assistant, SEN Support Worker, SEN Sport Coach or Healthcare Assistant are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications and Experience:

A minimum of a Level 2 Certificate in Early Years Education or Childcare is an advantage, but not essential. Previous experience working with young children, particularly those with special educational needs, in an educational or childcare setting. Experience providing 1:1 support is highly desirable. Basic first aid certification is an advantage, but not mandatory. Responsibilities within this role include:
