Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Teacher of Humanities to deliver outstanding teaching and learning within the humanities curriculum. This role supports the academic progress and personal development of learners through well-planned, engaging lessons. The successful candidate will assess and monitor student progress, foster an inclusive and stimulating classroom environment, and contribute actively to the wider goals of the institution, including curriculum development, student welfare, and extracurricular activities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Plan, prepare and deliver stimulating lessons across humanities subjects, including history, geography and religious studies, aligned with curriculum and examination standards. Assess and monitor student progress through marking, feedback and formal assessments, providing constructive support to enhance learning outcomes. Establish and maintain a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that promotes respect, engagement and high standards of behaviour. Adapt teaching methods and resources to meet the diverse needs and abilities of all learners.
