Job Description

The Teacher of Humanities delivers high-quality teaching and learning within the humanities curriculum, contributing to the academic development and personal growth of learners. This role involves planning, preparing and delivering effective lessons, assessing and monitoring student progress, and fostering an inclusive and stimulating learning environment. The post holder supports the wider objectives of the educational institution, including curriculum development, student welfare, and extracurricular activities.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in humanities subjects, including history, geography, and religious studies, in line with the curriculum and examination requirements. Assess and monitor student progress through marking, feedback, and formal assessments, providing constructive guidance to support learning and development. Create and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages respect, participation, and high standards of behaviour.
