About the role:
Join our innovative team as a Systems Design Engineer, creating electrical and mechanical designs for advanced connectivity solutions. Work with a growing engineering leader delivering mission-critical comms across land, sea, and air environments.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Convert concepts to production-ready CAD packages (ISO standards).
- Create 2D/3D drawings; contribute to CAD tool selection.
- Develop designs from outline to final STEP files.
- Detail electrical enclosures (panels/racks).
- Produce Visio diagrams, own tasks end-to-end.
Ideal profile:
- HNC/HND engineering qualification or apprenticeship.
- EU electrical safety/EMC-LVD compliance knowledge.
- 5+ years electrical design; high-volume drawings.
- BS8888:2017/ISO expert; CAD proficient (AutoCAD+).
- First-principles thinker; manufacturing/enclosures savvy; SC clearance eligible. xbpsjku
