Academics, is a leading education recruitment agency, is currently seeking a dedicated Supply SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a supply basis in a range of Specialist Schools across the Huddersfield area.

The Role:

As a Supply SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties) Work 1:1 or in small groups to help students access the curriculum Assist the class teacher with behaviour management and learning activities Create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment Adapt support to meet individual pupil needsRequirements as a Supply SEN Teaching Assistant:

Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN (school-based experience desirable) A patient, caring, and resilient approach Strong communication and teamwork skills An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply) Right to work in the UKWhat Academics Offers a Supply SEN Teaching Assistant
