Work centres on diagnosing movement, cracking, and structural concerns in homes and heritage buildings, commercial buildings, and giving people clear, confident answers they can rely on.Many clients come to them feeling unsure or worried about what theyve seen in their property. Their role is to replace that uncertainty with clarity. They take the time to investigate properly, explain whats happening in plain language, and outline practical next steps that suit the building and the situation.What They DoAssess structural issues in all types of buildings, from modern homes to historic and non traditional construction. They now require a structural engineer with extensive experience of report writing to assist in the development of the company to the next stage. The role would suit an engineer with an interest in all residential building types including historic, timber framed, non-traditional and modern-day construction with commercial and industrial buildings added to the mix. The Role Conduct site surveys and the preparation of written engineering reports. Reports to include pre-sale, insurance related, feasibility studies and due diligence. Active assistance in developing the business with new work streams and recruitment.Some design work. Flexible working hours and working from home. Competitive salary.
