Are you a Civil Engineer seeking a leading role within an expanding Structural Engineering practice, offering advanced development, specialist training, and a clear pathway into senior leadership?

Founded in 1981, this long-standing engineering consultancy supports projects of every scale by offering practical, dependable design expertise shaped by decades of industry experience. Known for clear communication and problem-solving, the team works closely with architects, developers, contractors, and local authorities to deliver solutions that stand up to both regulatory scrutiny and real-world construction demands.

In this role, you will deliver structural designs for civil engineering projects, producing calculations, drawings, and analysis across steel, concrete, timber, and masonry. You'll use Tekla Structural Designer, TEDDS, AutoCAD, and Revit, review site data, liaise with project teams and authorities, and ensure safe, compliant, and buildable structural solutions. Based in Gloucester, Monday-Friday, 38 hours per week.

This role would suit a Structural Engineer looking to take the lead on building and infrastructure structural design within a long-established consultancy, with opportunities to progress into senior leadership.

The Role:

  • Leading structural design for building and infrastructure projects
  • Producing models, calculations, drawings, and reports using Tekla, TEDDS, AutoCAD, and Revit
  • Reviewing site data, surveys, and existing structures
  • Liaising with clients, authorities, and project teams
  • Monday-Friday, 38 hours per week, based in Gloucester

The Person:

  • Degree or HND in Structural/Civil Engineering
  • Experience in structural design
  • Familiar with Tekla, TEDDS, and AutoCAD
  • Commutable to Gloucester
