specialitynt is a Refinery which is located on the east coast of England in North Lincolnshire, United Kingdom. The Humber facility include crude distilling, naphtha reforming, fluid catalytic cracking, hydrodesulfurization, thermal cracking and delayed coking units. The refinery has two coking units with associated calcining plants. This is the only coking refinery in the United Kingdom, and a producer of high-quality specialty graphite and anode-grade petroleum cokes. The refinery also produces a high percentage of transportation fuels. The majority of the light oils produced by the refinery are distributed to customers in the United Kingdom by pipeline, railcar and truck, while the other refined petroleum products are exported throughout the world.

They are currently seeking a skilled and experience Civil and Structural Engineer to join their team on a temporary basis initially covering 12 months but this could continue after.

THE ROLE:
Develop and implement surveys and inspection program, covering, superstructures, stacks, silos, secondary containment structures, drains, sump, pits, road, rail track, fireproofing
Liaise with consultants and specialists to develop specific solutions for projects, (small, medium, and large), maintenance and turnaround.
Liaise with plant owner to gather information for the development of specific solutions.
Be proficient in all, or most, of the aspects of Civil & Structural engineering techniques.
Design experience is essential.
Experience with specific structural and civil engineering design software is required, e.g. Tekla Structural Designer, Tekla Tedds, Stadd. Pro, Graitec, SAP2000
Proficient in AutoCAD, conversant with Advance Steel, Navisworks
Experience in the implementation and design of temporary works solution, e.g. superlifts, temporary support for retrofitting of new equipment utilising existing structures, design scaffold supports, deep excavations

Standard working hours are 08:00 - 16:30. However, they also have 2 different working patterns as part of the flexible working policy at the business which is available to Agency workers.

THE CANDIDATE:
Chartered Structural or Civil Engineer (Or actively working towards chartered status)
Demonstrated technical expertise (to recognised professional level or equivalent).
Excellent communicator and presenter.
Wide industry / discipline knowledge and contacts.
Highly customer focused.
Understands role and uses expertise to contribute to business improvement
Ability to manage conflicting priorities.

SALARY: £66,560 - £79,040
