This position will enable the business to build a baseline understanding of the current workforce, identify critical capabilities, and provide data-driven recommendations to address emerging skill gaps.YOU WILL:Lead the design and development of a Strategic Workforce Planning process that ensures the workforce is well-equipped to meet the organisation's evolving needsConduct in-depth analysis of the current workforce, including headcount, role families, critical capabilities, and skill gaps across functionsProvide clear and actionable recommendations to build and scale the Strategic Workforce Planning processCollaborate cross-functionally to align workforce planning with the organisation's long-term priorities and operating modelsDevelop and implement strategies to address workforce challenges and support the organisation's growth objectivesLeverage data and analytics to drive informed decision-making and workforce planning initiativesIDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:Significant experience in workforce planning, HR consulting, or a related fieldStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insightsExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills to effectively present recommendations and drive changeA deep understanding of workforce trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Strategic Workforce PlanningA track record of successfully designing and implementing Strategic Workforce Planning frameworksApplicants must be authorized to work in the United Kingdom, without the need for visa sponsorship by North Highland.
