Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Steel Detailer to join a well-established and growing structural steel specialist in Harrogate. This role is ideal for a technically minded individual looking to start or develop their career in steel detailing, offering hands-on training, mentorship, and a clear development path within a fast-paced, supportive environment.
This position is suited to someone with a good grounding in engineering or construction who is eager to learn and grow into the detailing function, working closely with experienced professionals to support the delivery of bespoke steel projects across the UK.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce detailed fabrication drawings, general arrangement drawings, and erection plans using 3D modelling software (e.g., Tekla Structures or similar). Interpret engineering and architectural drawings to create accurate steelwork details.
