Sous Chef– Fire-Led Kitchen - East London
We're looking for an experienced Sous Chef to support the Head Chef in a fire-led kitchen celebrating seasonal British produce with Mediterranean influence. This is a great opportunity to step into a key leadership role within a high-quality, creative East London restaurant.
Sous Chef -The Role:
Support the Head Chef in running daily kitchen operations.
Lead the team during prep and service, stepping up when required.
Contribute to menu development focused on seasonality and open-fire cooking.
Assist with stock control, GP, ordering and supplier relationships.
Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and kitchen organisation.
Train, mentor and develop junior chefs.

About You:
Sous or strong Jnr Sous Chef experience in a quality-driven or Michelin-level kitchen.
Passion for cooking over fire and seasonal, ingredient-led food.
Confident leader with strong communication skills.
Organised, calm under pressure and consistent during busy services.
Good understanding of kitchen financials and cost control.
