Job Description
The Company
This fast-growing, London-founded snack brand is building a global presence across the UK and US, with a mission to create feel-good products that people genuinely love. Sitting at the intersection of food, lifestyle, and culture, the brand has developed a loyal and highly engaged community through a strong social-first approach.
With millions of views, a growing fanbase, and a product that naturally lends itself to everyday moments, the brand has become known for its playful tone, distinctive personality, and ability to show up in culture in a way that feels human, reactive, and fun. As it continues to scale internationally, social remains at the heart of how the brand connects with its audience.
The Role
The company is looking for a Social Media Manager to take full ownership of its social presence and help make the brand impossible to ignore online. This is a hands-on, creative role for someone who lives and breathes internet culture and understands how to turn everyday moments into engaging, shareable content.
Working across platforms including TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Facebook, and LinkedIn — while exploring emerging channels — this person will lead the content calendar, drive reactive marketing, and build a community that feels genuinely connected to the brand.
This role goes beyond scheduling posts. It requires someone who can think in ideas, move quickly, and execute in real time — from planned campaigns to spontaneous, guerrilla-style moments that tap into trends, cultural conversations, and unexpected opportunities.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning and managing the brand’s social channels across key platforms
- Planning and delivering a dynamic content calendar with a mix of planned and reactive content
- Creating scroll-stopping content including short-form video, memes, POVs, and social-first formats
- Leading reactive and guerrilla-style marketing moments that tap into trends and cultural conversations
- Identifying and amplifying user-generated content, turning customers into creators and advocates
- Building and engaging a community through authentic, human interactions
- Collaborating with internal teams and external creators to produce content across UK and US markets
- Analysing performance and translating insights into clear creative direction
The Person
The ideal candidate is equal parts content creator, community builder, and cultural observer.
They will likely have:
- Experience managing social media for a brand, agency, or as a creator
- A deep understanding of platform culture across TikTok, Instagram, and emerging channels
- Proven experience creating or contributing to reactive, trend-led, or guerrilla-style content
- Strong instincts for what makes content engaging, shareable, and native to each platform
- Experience working across multiple markets (ideally UK and US)
They are:
- Highly creative, curious, and constantly plugged into internet culture
- Organised and able to manage multiple content streams and timelines
- Comfortable working quickly and making decisions in real time
- Confident both behind and in front of the camera (filming/editing is a plus)
- Collaborative, positive, and energised by a fast-paced, startup environment
This is an opportunity to take real ownership of a brand’s social presence, experiment freely, and play a key role in shaping how it shows up in culture across both the UK and US.
