Job Description

About Agora

We all deserve to be surrounded by people who care and cherish us as much as we cherish them.

Where do we go when we want community? When we're done with school, or have moved to an unknown city?

We exist to bring back the connection that we all crave. We match strangers using an AI-enhanced personality quiz that connects them over a meal, a craft, or a real shared experience.

We are here to make anyone feel more human again and to give people the sense of community we all need.

We're based in London and are currently in a growth phase in this city before expanding elsewhere.

The Role

We're looking for a highly creative, hands-on content creator who loves making strong short and long-form video.

You’re someone who can go out, capture real moments, film interviews, edit sharp social content, and help turn ideas into videos people actually want to watch.

You should care about how content feels, why it works, and how to make it better. You should be confident filming in real-world environments, comfortable trying new formats, and able to make content feel native to platforms like TikTok and Instagram.

What You'll Do

  • Film and edit short-form content for TikTok and Instagram
  • Attend Agora events and capture strong footage in real time
  • Film interviews, social moments, reactions, and behind-the-scenes content
  • Turn raw footage into clean, engaging edits with strong pacing and storytelling
  • Work closely with the social media content lead to bring ideas to life
  • Contribute creative ideas, formats, hooks, and concepts
  • Help test new content directions, including more experimental or guerrilla-style ideas
  • Adapt content for different use cases, from fast reactive posts to more polished edits
  • Help make Agora's content feel more watchable, distinctive, and emotionally engaging

About You

  • 1–3 years of experience creating short-form social content
  • Good instincts for what makes a video watchable and shareable
  • Confident filming in live environments and around people
  • Strong editing ability, ideally using CapCut and/or DaVinci Resolve
  • Good understanding of hook, pacing, storytelling, and structure
  • Comfortable taking initiative and trying new creative ideas
  • Keeps up with social and cultural trends
  • Deep, genuine interest in social media and online video culture
  • You understand the trends and how to market to people in their 20s and 30s

You'd Be a Strong Fit If

  • You naturally think in video ideas
  • You want to grow and push yourself creatively
  • You want to express creativity through stories and video
  • You can make ordinary footage feel compelling through editing and structure
  • You enjoy capturing real moments, not just polished studio content
  • You have taste and can tell the difference between content that's fine and content that's actually good
  • You like testing, learning, and improving quickly

What Success Looks Like

  • You're able to maintain a consistent posting schedule
  • Your videos improve in performance metrics over time
  • You're able to identify and create content that is repeatable and worth watching
  • You're comfortable taking risks and trying new things

What you get

  • £30k-£35k Salary + Equity
  • Pension Scheme
  • Private Healthcare
  • Free tickets to Agora events

How to Apply

We'd love to hear from you. Here's how the process works:

  • Send us your portfolio! anything you've made that shows a strong instinct for storytelling, editing, or social-native content
  • We'll schedule an intro call to get to know you better
  • You'll complete a short take-home task
  • You'll meet the rest of the team in the office for a final interview
