Huge Small VictoriesBeing a maintenance supervisor in our school means being part of something big. You’ll be doing your bit to make sure the school building is a great place to be for our young people.
Get out what you put inYou’ll supervise a skilled team to carry out maintenance and general repairs, together, you’ll fix problems and keep school grounds neat and tidy. You’ll make sure the school meets Health & Safety regulations, undertake safety inspections and keep up to date with any issues. As Supervisor, you’ll liaise with the Regional Property Manager and support the Head Teacher at the school.
One of the best environments in SENDOpening in Spring 2026, Felden Hall School is a purpose built, brand new, state of the art school for up to 115 pupils. The school provides education for pupils aged 5 - 16 and caters to children with a wide range of needs including autism and social, emotional and mental health needs. This new exciting opportunity serves Hemel Hempstead and the wider communities, you are at the heart of its development. Our aim is to ensure that every pupil has an outstanding educational experience with individual pupil progress and care at the heart of what is offered.

Have experience managing a site
Maintenance skills either professionally or as a DIY enthusiast
Support a team of maintenance workers and contractors
Have a ‘can do’ attitude – a team player who rolls up their sleeves to help others
Know how to apply Health & Safety regulations
Be willing to start the day early (8am)
