Site Manager (Contract) – Bedfordshire
An opportunity has arisen for a Site Manager to join a team delivering substation build and refurbishment projects.
The Site Manager will oversee construction activities from start to finish and serve as the main point of contact for the client.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage day-to-day operations of site staff and subcontractors
*
Prepare and implement site-specific Health & Safety documentation, including Method Statements and Risk Assessments
*
Identify training needs for site personnel
*
Liaise with the client on audits and progress meetings
*
Procure materials using computer systems
*
Maintain records of project variations and report to line manager
*
Compile handover documentation and as-built records
Requirements:
*
HNC/Degree in Construction, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
*
CITB Site Managers Safety Training Scheme certification
*
UKPN Substation Entry ()
*
Temporary Works Supervisor certification
*
Experience in construction and the electrical utility sector
*
Substation competency
*
Familiarity with NEC contracts
*
Strong understanding of current Health, Safety & Environmental regulations
*
Experience with cost/value reporting
*
Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
*
Full UK driving licence
