Rate; £300 per day


We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to oversee a live care home refurbishment project based in Newcastle.


This is an excellent opportunity for a hands‑on Site Manager with a trade background who is comfortable working in sensitive, occupied environments. The initial project is 12 weeks, with a strong pipeline of work within the Newcastle area.


The Role

  • Managing a live care home refurbishment
  • Acting as the primary on‑site contact for the care home manager/manageress
  • Coordinating trades, programme, and daily site operations
  • Ensuring work is delivered safely, respectfully, and with minimal disruption
  • Remaining hands‑on where required, supporting works on site
  • Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and site conduct


About You

The successful candidate will be personable, adaptable, and respectful, with experience working in live environments.


Essential:

  • Trade background (Carpentry preferred or multi‑skilled)
  • SMSTS qualification
  • Happy to undergo Enhanced DBS
  • Previous experience managing live / occupied buildings
  • Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills
  • Ability to run a site and work on the tools if needed
