Site Manager – Fit Out & Refurbishment (UK Wide Travel)\n\nLocation: Birmingham (with UK-wide travel)\nSector: Fit-Out / Interiors / Refurbishment\n\nA leading Workspace team, specialising in fit-out and interior refurbishment projects, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their growing operation. This opportunity is being managed by a recruiter on behalf of the business.\n\nWhile the role is based out of Birmingham, the successful candidate must be willing to travel across the UK to support project delivery, as work is secured nationwide.\n\nThe Role\n\nThe Site Manager will be responsible for overseeing a variety of fit-out and refurbishment schemes, often within live environments. Projects are fast-paced and require a proactive, organised individual capable of managing multiple stakeholders and maintaining high standards.\n\nThe successful candidate may be assigned to a range of secured projects and frameworks, including:\n\n * Financial sector works – including ATM installations, branch refurbishments and closures, and back-of-house upgrades (staff areas, kitchens, flooring, lighting, etc.)\n\n * Public sector refurbishment schemes – primarily involving live site environments, with works including internal upgrades and accessibility improvements (e.g.

level access)\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * Oversee day-to-day site operations across fit-out and refurbishment projects\n\n * Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams\n\n * Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to a high standard\n\n * Coordinate works within live environments, minimising disruption\n\n * Liaise with clients and key stakeholders throughout delivery\n\n * Maintain accurate site documentation and reporting\n\nRequirements\n\n * Proven experience as a Site Manager within fit-out, interiors, or refurbishment\n\n * Strong experience working in live environments\n\n * Excellent organisational and communication skills\n\n * Willingness to travel nationwide as required\n\n * Flexibility to work out of hours (evenings/weekends) when necessary, with prior notice provided\n\n * Candidates should ideally come from a permanent/employed background rather than long-term freelance roles\n\n * Demonstrable commitment to project completion and long-term career development\n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\n * Opportunity to join a well-established and growing fit-out specialist\n\n * Involvement in a diverse portfolio of secured projects and frameworks\n\n * Long-term career progression within a supportive team environment
