Job Description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a Mechanical contractor who is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor / Site Manager to join their team on a long-term commercial project in Birmingham.\n\nThis is a minimum 50-week contract working on a £7.5M M&E office development, offering strong continuity of work and the opportunity to be part of a well-established and growing contractor with a strong pipeline of commercial and education projects.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Supervise mechanical installation works on a live construction site\n\n * Work closely with the wider project management team to ensure successful delivery\n\n * Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and site teams\n\n * Interpret mechanical drawings and assist with coordination\n\n * Support pre-construction and design input where required\n\n * Assist with site H&S compliance and documentation\n\n * Oversee and mentor site teams, including apprentices\n\nRequirements:\n\n * Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor or Site Manager within M&E\n\n * Strong site-based supervisory background on commercial projects\n\n * Excellent communication and problem-solving skills\n\n * Ability to manage subcontractors and site teams effectively\n\n * SSSTS or SMSTS certification (essential)\n\n * Organised, reliable, and strong attention to detail\n\nBenefits:\n\n * Long-term contract (minimum 50 weeks)\n\n * Work on a high-value commercial office project\n\n * Opportunity to work with a reputable and growing M&E contractor\n\n * Ongoing pipeline of future work available\n\nTo apply, please submit your CV or contact us for more information
