Site Engineer - Plymouth £300 - £400 per day plus + £50 Lodge | Long-Term Project | High-Security Site We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Engineer to join a major infrastructure redevelopment project located on a high-security Royal Navy site in Plymouth . This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a long-term, technically challenging programme with a focus on civil engineering excellence. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the delivery of the project, ensuring technical compliance, dimensional accuracy, and quality control across a broad scope of works. This position is suited to an individual with strong experience in setting out, site documentation, and working within secure or complex environments. Key Responsibilities: Carry out and verify site setting out and dimensional control.
Maintain accurate records including daily diaries, drawing registers, and quality documentation.
Assist in the preparation of as-built drawings and sketches.
Support the delivery team in overcoming technical issues and resolving site queries.
Monitor workmanship and test materials, including drainage, piling, concrete, and brickwork.
Promote safety, quality, and environmental compliance at all stages.
