THIS IS A PERMANENT ROLE

As a Shift Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of production equipment, carrying out preventative maintenance and urgent repairs to minimise downtime and support continuous operations across the site.

Pay:£45,000.00 per year

Shifts:

• PANAMA Shift 6am to 6pm /6pm to 6am 3 on 2 off
• Full rota provided in advance

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with schedule and documentation standards
• Respond quickly to plant and production breakdowns, prioritising urgent issues
• Repair equipment efficiently to minimise downtime and support production flow
• Maintain a clean and safe engineering workshop and uphold site safety practices
• Assist with the management of engineering job lists and shift handovers
• Communicate effectively with the Engineering Manager, Shift Supervisors, and other departments
• Support compliance by ensuring PPE, Safe Working Procedures, and housekeeping standards are followed
• Monitor spare parts and report critical requirements to management

Requirements:

• Engineering/maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Proactive approach to maintenance and health & safety
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts and handle unplanned tasks as needed
