ECHO Personnel is hiring a Shift Maintenance Engineer for one of our clients based in Corby a well-established leader in the plastic recycling and packaging manufacturing industry. THIS IS A PERMANENT ROLE As a Shift Maintenance Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of production equipment, carrying out preventative maintenance and urgent repairs to minimise downtime and support continuous operations across the site.

Pay:£45,000.00 per year Shifts: PANAMA Shift 6am to 6pm /6pm to 6am 3 on 2 off Full rota provided in advance Key Responsibilities: Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) in line with schedule and documentation standards Respond quickly to plant and production breakdowns, prioritising urgent issues Repair equipment efficiently to minimise downtime and support production flow Maintain a clean and safe engineering workshop and uphold site safety practices Assist with the management of engineering job lists and shift handovers Communicate effectively with the Engineering Manager, Shift Supervisors, and other departments Support compliance by ensuring PPE, Safe Working Procedures, and housekeeping standards are followed Monitor spare parts and report critical requirements to management xehkeey Requirements: Engineering/maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Proactive approach to maintenance and health & safety Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Flexibility to work rotating shifts and handle unplanned tasks as needed If youre interested, please apply by submitting your CV
