DK Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established and growing manufacturing client who are looking to strengthen their engineering team with the addition of a Shift Engineer.\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, forward-thinking organisation offering long-term career development, investment in training, and a supportive engineering culture.\n\nThe Role\nAs a Shift Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining site performance by ensuring equipment reliability and minimising downtime within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work closely with production teams and fellow engineers to support operational targets.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery and site services\n\n * \n\n Mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding and breakdown response\n\n * \n\n Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives\n\n * \n\n Ensuring compliance with health & safety standards at all times\n\n * \n\n Accurate completion of maintenance records using CMMS systems\n\n * \n\n Assisting with improvement projects and equipment upgrades\n\nCandidate Profile\n\n * \n\n Time-served Maintenance Engineer with a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent\n\n * \n\n Mechanical or Electrical bias (multi-skilled highly desirable)\n\n * \n\n Proven experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment\n\n * \n\n Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills\n\n * \n\n Comfortable working shifts and responding to breakdowns\n\n * \n\n Proactive, team-oriented approach
