The Role As a Shift Engineer, you will play a key role in maintaining site performance by ensuring equipment reliability and minimising downtime within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will work closely with production teams and fellow engineers to support operational targets.

Key Responsibilities

Planned and reactive maintenance on production machinery and site services

*

Mechanical and/or electrical fault-finding and breakdown response

*

Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives

*

Ensuring compliance with health & safety standards at all times

*

Accurate completion of maintenance records using CMMS systems

*

Assisting with improvement projects and equipment upgrades

Candidate Profile

*

Time-served Maintenance Engineer with a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent

*

Mechanical or Electrical bias (multi-skilled highly desirable)

*

Proven experience within a manufacturing or industrial environment

*

Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills

*

Comfortable working shifts and responding to breakdowns

*

Proactive, team-oriented approach
