Vickerstock are working in partnership with a leading manufacturing and fit-out firm on the appointment of a SHEQ Manager .

As the SHEQ Manager, you will ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality standards across a dynamic business that includes joinery manufacturing, fit-out projects, and fixture recycling operations.

In your new role:

Ensure full compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, CDM Regulations 2015, and relevant UK legislation relating to joinery manufacturing and recycling Conduct regular EHS inspections across manufacturing sites, recycling facilities, and fit-out locations Develop, implement and monitor tailored EHS plans for woodworking, material handling, and recycling processes Create and maintain comprehensive RAMS for machinery use, chemical handling, and site-based activities Lead investigations into incidents and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing preventative actions Deliver training sessions and toolbox talks covering woodworking safety, dust control, fire safety, and manual handling Ensure environmental compliance with waste management and recycling regulations Implement sustainability initiatives aimed at reducing waste and improving energy efficiency Monitor ...
