Service Transformation Analyst

CMS UK in Greater London seeks a Service Transformation Analyst on a 12‑month fixed‑term basis. The role will support the service transformation team in implementing process improvements, system enhancements and upgrades within the finance and accounting workstreams.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth transition during organisational change.
  • Implement business process and system improvements, focusing on finance & accounting.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of regulatory standards (VAT / SRA compliance) and current finance and risk processes.
  • Support the Finance Operations team in routine activities, ensuring best practices, efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Prepare project‑related documentation, including process maps, training guides and manuals.
  • Collaborate with business users, support functions and external parties to gather, review and analyse information and functional requirements.
  • Engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously as required.
  • Conduct data analysis to track and report project progress.
  • Facilitate meetings with stakeholders across the business and third parties, both remotely and in person.
  • Prepare and deliver training sessions for support functions and business users; assist IT trainers when needed.
  • Undertake additional duties as assigned by the Service Transformation Manager or other Finance Operations management.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Essential: In‑depth knowledge of the legal industry and its operational model.
  • Essential: Comprehensive understanding of working capital and finance operations within a finance and accounting role.
  • Preferred: Prior experience in a similar finance role.
  • Preferred: Proven experience advising senior management.
  • Desirable: Familiarity with Elite 3E software.
